Area Distributors Announces Acquisition

Area Distributors has announced its fifth acquisition since 2021. New Hill, NC-based Paragon Solutions, Inc., has sold certain assets to Area Distributors.

“These assets include Paragon’s www.bottlesandfoamers.com business which supplies plastic containers and dispensing products to manufacturers and other customers throughout the United States,” according to a press release. “Paragon’s inventory will be relocated to Area’s Quincy, IL, distribution center.  Paragon owner Kevin DuBois is staying on with the company to assure a seamless transition.”

“The client base from Paragon is a great fit for Area Distributors — a perfect hybrid between our janitorial supplies and our packaging supplies product offerings,” Area Distributors VP of Sales and Co-Owner Jeff Rupert said. “Customers will continue to receive the exact same items that Paragon has always sent to them. We are confident that we can also provide many new product offerings to these new customers, who we are excited to develop relationships with.”
