BISSELL Home Care International Acquires Edmar Corporation

BISSELL Home Care International has announced its acquisition of Edmar Corporation, a longtime distribution partner of BISSELL Big Green commercial products.

Edmar has been a partner of BISSELL since 2012, focusing on selling BISSELL Commercial vacuums, sweeping and other cleaning products. These products are used to clean retail stores, hotels, restaurants, warehouses and various other businesses.

“This acquisition, along with the Sanitaire Commercial business, gives BISSELL two of the strongest brands in the commercial cleaning market,” according to a press release. “While these brands have similar products, they are positioned differently in the marketplace with both having very loyal customer and end-user bases.”

The release added: “The BISSELL Big Green commercial brand has a broad array of products, with many businesses depending on these products to provide a clean experience for guests and employees. We are thankful for this support and look forward to continuing to serve customers with BISSELL Big Green and Haaga products. The Edmar team remains ready to provide support with any administrative changes — otherwise it is business as usual.”
