“As chair, Smith will work closely with executive leadership to guide the organization’s strategic direction, foster member engagement, and support key initiatives that advance the commercial real estate industry,” according to a press release. “Smith becomes one of the few women to hold this leadership position in BOMA International’s history, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s ongoing commitment to diverse and inclusive leadership.”

“It’s an honor to step into this role at BOMA International during such a pivotal time for the commercial real estate industry,” Smith said. “I’m excited to work alongside an exceptional team to support our members, build on our momentum, and advance the values that make this organization such a vital force in our industry.”
