BOMA International’s 2023 Annual Conference & Expo Set For June 24-27

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International 2023 Annual Conference & Expo will take place on June 24-27 in Kansas City, MO.

“The 2023 BOMA Conference provides the perfect opportunity for commercial real estate professionals to come together and learn what the industry’s future holds. We’ve also got some great BOMA International achievements to celebrate, like the introduction of BOMA BEST to the U.S. market, and our reunification with BOMI (Building Owners & Managers Institute),” BOMA International Chair Randal Froebelius said.

BOMA has also revised three courses set to launch on July 1. They are Budgeting and Accounting, Law and Risk Management, and Real Estate Investment and Finance. BOMI representatives will be onsite to guide attendees through their educational opportunities.

Keynote speakers will include Executive Chairman of Team Rubicon and Founder of Groundswell Jake Wood. His keynote will cover strategies to deal with uncertainty and chaos using the U.S. military’s VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) framework. Attendees can also hear from Melissa Swift, U.S. Transformation leader at Mercer, about the future of work. She will address recent shifts across workplaces that are leading to a more human future of work and creating a better output for both companies and employees.

“In what has been an extremely productive and exciting year since our last Annual Conference, BOMA is excited to continue the momentum by hosting an incredible conference in Kansas City,” incoming BOMA International Chair Bob Six said. “We’ve got an amazing slate of educational opportunities lined up. There will always be something new and exciting around the corner at BOMA 2023, whether it’s on the expo floor with amazing exhibitors, or industry insights from BOMA International President Henry Chamberlain’s State of the Industry presentation.”

Founded in 1907, BOMA International is a federation of 85 U.S. local associations and 17 international affiliates. It is a trade association for commercial real estate professionals and represents the owners, managers, service providers and other property professionals of all commercial building types, including office, industrial, medical, corporate, and mixed-use.
