GP PRO Seeks ISSA Innovation Award For Tissue Dispenser That Optimizes Productivity, Waste Reduction, And Hygiene

GP PRO, a division of Georgia-Pacific and a leading maker of advanced dispensing solutions for commercial facilities, has announced it is seeking an ISSA Innovation Award for its newest tissue dispenser at ISSA Show North America 2023.

The Compact Quad® Plus Toilet Paper Dispenser, which is launching in Q1 2024, was developed with direct input from maintainers to address their continued need for restroom equipment that helps optimize productivity, waste reduction, and hygiene, as well as with anthropometric data to improve the overall user experience.

“Notable features of the new dispenser include a roll spindle system with four independent roll holders that drop into the loading position when the dispenser is open and the holder is empty, which helps reduce load time by 40% compared to the previous model; a patented tissue roll lock mechanism that helps prevent stub roll waste and, when used with Compact® Coreless Toilet Paper, allows for nearly 100% roll usage; translucent sliding doors that help protect rolls not in use from cross contamination while informing the user of a ready supply; and a new push lock that is relocated to allow easier maintainer access when an ADA-compliant grab bar is present. Similar to its predecessor, the Compact Quad Plus Toilet Paper Dispenser holds up to 6,000 two-ply sheets, helping to reduce roll changes and ensure a steady supply,” according to a press release.
