Imperial Dade Acquires 3G Packaging, Inc., Expands Coverage In New York
Imperial Dade, a North American distributor of foodservice packaging supplies, industrial products, and janitorial supplies, has announced the acquisition of 3G Packaging, Inc., (3G). The transaction represents the 86th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, Chairman and CEO of Imperial Dade, respectively. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
“3G was established in 2016 by Vince Stango following the merger of Acker-Pak and CIPS, two companies in the industrial distribution industry. The company lives by its name 3G Packaging; meaning ‘Great Products, Great Service and Great People,’” according to a press release. “The company services its customer base throughout upstate New York from three locations in Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse.”
“3G Packaging is a fast-growing business in the industrial packaging marketspace. 3G Packaging has been in the Top100 fastest growing companies for 10 consecutive years from 2012 to 2022, and its culture aligns seamlessly with Imperial Dade. I welcome the entire 3G family and am excited for the great opportunities to come,” Robert Tillis said.
“3G is a great strategic fit with Imperial Dade, further expanding our presence in New York. Their relentless focus on customer service aligns well with Imperial Dade,” Jason Tillis added.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the decades of dedication and support from the 3G family of employees and thankful for the loyal customers we’ve served over the years,” 3G Packaging President Vince Stango said.
