The 2025 ISSA Show North America is scheduled for November 10-13 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, in Las Vegas, NV. The annual event will offer networking, education, and product discovery opportunities at a time when collaboration and learning are essential. Staying up to date on the latest trends and solutions for cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention — while also pursuing accreditation, training, and certification — further evolve the industry and change the way the world views cleaning.
Sponsored by ISSA and organized by Informa Markets, the 2025 ISSA Show North America will include over 600 exhibitors from across the cleaning ecosystem to showcase the newest products, tools, equipment, and technologies. The event addresses the critical need to enhance safety, sustainability, and efficiency in global sectors including food and dining, hospitality, healthcare, and more.
The gathering will again bring together a projected 14,000-plus registered professionals from over 80 countries. This reach and continued growth underscores ISSA Show North America as a vital touchpoint to gain hands-on experience and education on new innovations, trends, and regulations in one of the most critical and indispensable industries in the world — all to better utilize resources to advance cleanliness.
According to ISSA, North America has become the world’s largest cleaning industry market, significantly contributing to the international market. As this space expands, software continues to optimize automated processes to meet demand. Advanced technologies showcased at the ISSA Show North America — such as artificial intelligence (AI) assisted clean tech, autonomous AI-integrated service robots, and automated maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) programs — are enhancing performance.
Meanwhile, this year’s ISSA Show’s educational sessions — covering business development, sustainability, career development, marketing strategies, distributor growth strategies and more — will provide insights for the hospitality, healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial cleaning sectors.
These sessions will share best practices, solutions and success strategies to deliver high-quality services, tailored to each sector. Specialized courses for facility service professionals, housekeeping management, facility supply sales, and residential cleaners will also address a variety of topics.

ISSA Show Director Ed Nichols Shares What’s ‘New And Cool’
ISSA Show Director Ed Nichols recently discussed what will be new and cool at this year’s ISSA Show North America, during an interview with ISSA Media Director Jeff Cross.
According to Nichols, ISSA Show North America remains the industry’s gathering place, bringing together cleaning professionals, manufacturers, educators, and leaders from around the world. This year’s event is set to deliver more than just a trade show — it’s about discovering fresh solutions, sharpening skills, and making meaningful connections.
Labor shortages, supply chain challenges, and industry consolidation are shaping the market, and the show is responding with a strong focus on innovation. Automation and robotics will be front and center as exhibitors highlight how new technology is helping companies manage a leaner workforce. With thousands of new products on display, attendees will have plenty to explore.
Networking is another highlight. A new digital platform will facilitate easier connections between attendees and exhibitors ahead of time, while on-site lounges, receptions, and happy hours will enable professionals to meet face-to-face, share challenges, and explore opportunities together.
Education runs deep throughout the program, with support from partners such as BSCAI, IEHA, and the Hygieia Network. Sessions will cover certifications, workshops, and training opportunities, including Spanish-language options. A standout new feature this year is the Global Collegiate Sales Competition, which brings 10 universities to the show floor for live contests — helping introduce the next generation of talent to the cleaning industry.
For newcomers, the advice is straightforward: Set clear goals, utilize the event app to plan ahead, and engage in networking. For longtime attendees, the message is to break out of familiar routines. With nearly a third of the show floor and half of the audience changing each year, there’s always something new to discover. More than 11,000 professionals are expected to gather this November, each leaving with new ideas, stronger relationships, and fresh momentum for the year ahead.

Instead of just talking about problems, the event will dive into real solutions that can help industry professionals lead with confidence in an unpredictable market.
The session will feature a panel of industry leaders who are tackling today’s toughest issues head-on. Expect honest dialogue, fresh perspectives, and practical takeaways that can be implemented right away.
The event will feature:

The session is focused on helping distributors and wholesalers, building service contractors, and those involved in healthcare and hospitality services, K-12 and higher education services, manufacturing, as well as residential and facility service providers.
Global Collegiate Sales Competition
For the first time ever, the Global Collegiate Sales Competition (GCSC) will take place at the ISSA Show North America. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic excellence and industry innovation. It represents a strategic investment in developing the next generation of sales professionals specifically for the cleaning industry. Modeled after prestigious collegiate sales competitions, the GCSC creates a dynamic platform where emerging talent meets industry opportunity in a high-energy, competitive environment.
The Competition will take place over two days. On Wednesday, November 12, participants will navigate through a carefully crafted series of challenges designed to simulate real-world sales scenarios in the cleaning industry. That includes:
- Speed Selling Rounds – Competitors perfect their elevator pitches and demonstrate quick thinking under pressure in a fast, high-stakes “Shark Tank” like setting.
- Immersive Role Plays – Students will engage with actual products and services from today’s cleaning and custodial marketplace, showcasing their ability to understand and communicate value propositions in direct one-on-one pitches while being graded by a panel of judges.
- Industry-Specific Challenges – Each activity puts the competitors in front of potential hiring managers and influential business executives.
The Grand Finale takes place on Thursday, November 13, as the competition will reach a climax with a final round. The top performing teams will take center stage on the ISSA show floor with a live audience. Exhibitors and attendees are invited to witness these talented finalists demonstrate exceptional sales skills culminating in cash prizes for the top 3 winners in the Role Play and Speed Selling rounds. Industry recognition will also take place from leading companies in the cleaning industry.
This inaugural competition features:
- 10 Elite College Teams – Each comprising of four sales students;
- Nationwide Representation – Universities from across the United States will provide diverse perspectives and approaches; and,
- Direct Industry Exposure – Students gain invaluable insights into the cleaning industry’s products, challenges, and opportunities.
“The GCSC represents an unprecedented opportunity to connect with pre-qualified talent who have demonstrated specific interest in our industry,” according to ISSA. “This isn’t just a competition — it’s the future workforce pipeline in action. Attendees can witness the energy and fresh perspectives these students bring to the industry. Their innovative approaches to selling cleaning solutions may inspire new strategies for future business development efforts.”
