QuestSpecialty Acquires American Jetway Corporation

QuestSpecialty LLC, a leading manufacturer of specialized industrial and commercial chemical products, recently announced it has acquired American Jetway Corporation, of Wayne, MI.

“Founded over 40 years ago, QuestSpecialty is a well-recognized name in the specialty chemical industry known for its extensive line of branded, contract packaging and private label aerosols, liquids, powders, and wipes,” according to a press release. “Its products are formulated for use in sanitary supply, property management, industrial specialties, foodservice and fleet/transportation applications.”

“This partnership brings together two longstanding companies with a shared commitment to producing high quality aerosol products for our customers,” Michael Koma, president and chief executive officer of QuestSpecialty, said. “Adding the assets, products and talented team at American Jetway accelerates our goal of expanding into new vertical markets and offering the most comprehensive product line of specialty chemicals in the industrial and institutional marketplace. We will be able to more rapidly expand our product line, improve logistics, accelerate innovation and increase supply chain stability.”

“With the acquisition of American Jetway Corporation, QuestSpecialty has doubled its manufacturing capabilities to over 330,000 square feet with two production sites strategically located in Texas and Michigan,” the release added.

QuestSpecialty, LLC, headquartered in Brenham, TX, is a manufacturer of industrial specialty chemicals for use in sanitary supply, building maintenance, industrial specialties, foodservice and automotive industries. The company manufactures over 400 different products, with most of them available for private label, including aerosols (2 oz. to 24 oz.) and liquids (3 oz. to rail cars).
