Sellars Recognized With Two National Leadership Awards

Tom Sellars

Sellars Absorbent Materials, a Milwaukee, WI-based manufacturer of wipes, absorbents and towel and tissue products, has received two national awards for leadership. Real Leaders has recognized Sellars with its Company Impact Awards and Tom Sellars, CEO of Sellars, was named to the MO 100 Top Impact CEO list.

“Each of these awards is a recognition of our core values,” Sellars said. “One of our goals is to be a catalyst for positive change by providing attractive jobs with comprehensive employee benefits, and being responsible stewards of the environment and Earth’s natural resources.”

Impact Award

Founded in 2010 to drive positive change, Real Leaders is a B Corporation and a member of the UN Global Compact. The Impact Award, presented by Real Leaders, recognizes companies that are solving existential problems through innovative and market-based solutions. Additionally, the Impact Awards considers a company’s five-year sales growth, revenue, and social and environmental impact as measured by a B Impact Assessment.

MO 100

The MO 100 Top Impact CEO ranking celebrates leaders who are leveraging the engine of capitalism to create shared prosperity. The ranking shines a spotlight on CEOs who champion a new vision of capitalism, and demonstrate that every transaction represents an opportunity to create positive outcomes for all stakeholders. The MO 100 evaluates companies on their “Force for Good” score that takes into account one-year sales growth, revenue and B Impact Assessment.
