Spartan Chemical Company, Inc., a recognized leader in the formulation and manufacture of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, has announced the promotion of Art Hernandez, Matthew Stephens and Frank Walters to the role of regional manager.

In this role, Hernandez responded to and negotiated tax supported agency bids, maintained contractual agreements with those agencies, and pursued new accounts while conducting quarterly business reviews for those accounts. Hernandez established himself as a government segment expert with sales surpassing $4 million within a year and a half, which earned him a role as an Enterprise Representative.

Stephens, who has responsibility for the East Texas region, most recently served as client relations director for Avenna Healthcare in Tyler, TX, for five years. Prior to that, Stephens spent 10 years as account manager at Dixie Paper Company, in Tyler, where he prepared bids, processed orders, provided machine demonstrations, called on accounts, and managed his territory to maximize opportunities for new customers.

Joining Spartan as the regional manager for the New York region, Walters most recently served as district manager for Speedway/7-11 throughout upstate New York for the last five years. He was responsible for directly driving sales and profits for a multi-unit area of store locations, as well as overseeing the overall condition of all stores including cleanliness, food services, food sanitation, and merchandising.
