Spartan Chemical Promotes Andy Scherting To Regional Manager

Spartan Chemical Company, Inc., has announced the promotion of Andy Scherting to the role of regional manager, effective Oct. 1, 2025. Scherting joins Spartan in the Toledo, OH, region.

For the past three and a half years, Scherting held the role of U.S. commercial director of sales and brokerage for Select Dedicated Solutions, where he was responsible for overseeing growth of the U.S. sales team, the diversification of commercial freight clients, and the integration of U.S. and Mexico operations to grow and expand both the asset and brokerage divisions of the cross-border logistics business.

Prior to that, Scherting held the role of vice president for seven years at Go Logistics in Millbury, OH, where he was responsible for overseeing the brokerage group’s domestic and international sales growth. He also spent five years at Keller Logistics, holding various titles including warehouse manager, fleet manager, and logistics manager.

Scherting attended the University of Toledo where he received a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.
