Trojan Battery To Showcase Products During ISSA Show North America 2023
Trojan Battery Company will showcase its full range of deep-cycle batteries at Booth 3152 at the ISSA Show North America 2023 in Las Vegas on Nov. 13 – 16. That includes the GC2 Lithium-Ion Batteries, new Trojan AES (Advanced Energy Storage) Batteries with three times the cycle life of standard AGM, and renowned flooded lead-acid batteries.
“Trojan AES Batteries overcome many of the limitations of standard AGM technology and cut replacements compared to standard AGM,” according to a press release.
Advanced Technology Extends Life And Streamlines Operations
“Standard AGM batteries are not designed for partial state of charge (PSoC) operation or opportunity charging. Yet this often occurs on busy work sites, causing corrosion, sulfation, and possibly early battery failure,” the release added. “On the other hand, the Trojan AES Battery features a proprietary carbon additive and Deep Cycle Series (DCS) technology with paste formulations that can withstand daily repeated discharges, operate in PSoC without damage, and safely withstand opportunity charging.”
Based on trusted VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) technology, the maintenance-free battery outperforms competitive products in these areas, according to Trojan Battery:
- Lasts Longer: Up to three times the cycle life of a standard AGM. Validated at 1,200 cycles at 100% DoD (Depth of Discharge).
- Harsh Conditions: Robust performance in extreme conditions and temperatures ranging from -40o F to 160o F (-40o C to 71o C).
- Harmless Partial State of Charge Operation: Tested to withstand long-term PSoC again and again.
“The battery is 99% recyclable, designed to absorb vibrations and shocks, and covered by a limited three-year warranty. It also has plug-and-play compatibility with chargers using AGM profiles,” the release said.
Rental, the nationally recognized magazine serving rental equipment professionals, named the Trojan AES Battery one of its 2023 Editor’s Choice Award winners. The awards represent the products garnering the most interest from rental equipment professionals and end-users.
Longer-Lasting Lithium-Ion Batteries
“Trojan will also display its 24-, 36- and 48-volt lithium-ion batteries that take performance to new heights. They last up to 10 years and deliver the most extended run times with the lowest total cost of ownership of all technologies. The batteries harmlessly accept opportunity charging, work in PSoC and maintain consistent power regardless of the state of charge,” according to the release.
Proven And Affordable Flooded Lead-Acid
Trojan Battery added: “Flooded lead-acid batteries are the least expensive floorcare machine battery option. They deliver long, reliable service if users follow the manufacturer’s maintenance and charging guidelines and don’t rely on opportunity charges or use them in PSoC.”
