ABCO Cleaning Products Teams Up With Composting Facility To Minimize Food Waste

ABCO Cleaning Products, a provider of sustainable cleaning tools, has announced its Honduras plant’s collaboration with a local composting facility, Hagamos Composta. This partnership is designed to tackle the issue of food waste sent to landfills by converting it into organic fertilizer that replenishes the environment.

It has preserved 93% of its food waste in addition to 10 million pounds of garment scrap, with only 7% ending up in landfills yearly,” according to a press release. “These efforts have earned ABCO third-party certifications such as GreenSeal®️ and UL Solutions based on manufacturing innovative, quality and sustainable cleaning solutions. This offers further authenticity behind ABCO’s environmental claims, providing customers with confidence in their purchasing.”
