Sellars Absorbent Materials, a Milwaukee, WI-based manufacturer of wipes, absorbents and towel and tissue products, has added David Hine to its sales leadership team. Hine, who spent more than 14 years with von Drehle Corporation, has joined Sellars as Vice President of National Accounts.

“Great companies are made by great people, and we are very pleased to have David join our team. We look forward to his contributions to our shared success and are fortunate to have another senior sales leader join the team,” Sellars CEO Tom Sellars said. “During the past year, we’ve brought over three top performers from von Drehle — Larry Cook, Paul Ihde, and now David. It’s a powerhouse trio that has decades of experience in the category.”

During his time with von Drehle, Hine established the National Account Division and significantly grew topline sales, profitability, and the number of large national accounts. He also worked closely with national accounts to develop new products for their private label brands.

“With the addition of David, our sales team has a roster of heavy hitters who are well known and respected in the industry,” Larry Cook, vice president of commercial sales for Sellars, said. “We’re excited to continue to innovate and advance the towel and tissue category and I know David will be a valuable resource as we execute our growth and expansion plans.”
