ISSA Residential Announces Award Winners

ISSA has announced the winners of the PerfectCLEAN Professional Cleaner of the Year Award and the Office Team Member Award, as presented during a ceremony at the ISSA Show North America 2023, in Las Vegas.

The annual Professional Image Awards are an opportunity for the residential cleaning community to recognize industry professionals for their outstanding contributions throughout past year.

The 2023 Professional Cleaner of the Year is Melody Perkins, from Better Life Maids in St. Louis, MO.

“Professional residential cleaners such as Melody Perkins consistently dedicate themselves to the highest standards of industry excellence,” George Clarke, CEO of UMF Corp., manufacturer of PerfectCLEAN, said. “Our sponsorship of the Professional Cleaner of the Year Award, now in its seventh year, reflects UMF’s commitment to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional contributions of these frontline workers. It is a privilege to back this award.”

The 2023 Office Team Member Award goes to Amanda Acton, of Just PeachyClean LLC in South Daytona, FL.

“It is an honor to recognize the professionals in our industry who go above and beyond not just for their companies, but for their customers as well,” Jeannie Henderson, ISSA Residential Cleaning Council Chair, said. “As our industry continues to grow, it is the dedication and hard work of professionals like Melody and Amanda that illustrate the commitment to excellence for the many members of ISSA Residential.”

This year, ISSA Residential also selected Honorable Mention recipients for each award. Taylor Walk, also of Just PeachyClean, was the Professional Cleaner of the Year Honorable Mention, while The Office Team Member of the Year Honorable Mention went to Erika Alcantara, PCT Clean of Kennesaw, GA.
