Spartan Chemical Promotes Gaustad And Valle To Regional Manager

Spartan Chemical Company, Inc., a recognized leader in the formulation and manufacture of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, has announced the promotion of Robert Gaustad and Rony Valle to the role of regional manager, effective May 16, 2023.

Gaustad joins Spartan as the regional manager for the Oregon region. For the last eight years, he has worked as a clinical director for Starkey Hearing, covering the Oregon, Montana, Utah, and Washington region where he was responsible for sales and events for the company. Prior to that, Gaustad was an account manager for three years in Portland, OR, working at Expect Payment Solutions. His experience also includes seven years at American Family Insurance where he was the owner, managing all sales and marketing activities.

Rony Valle

Joining Spartan as the regional manager for the Chicago, IL, region, Valle spent the last 20-plus years gaining industry experience working for Johnson Diversey and Georgia-Pacific Professional. He started his career as market manager in Chicago with Johnson Diversey. During his 13 years at Georgia-Pacific, he worked in field sales, regional distribution, national distribution manager and worked his way up to the role of market sales director. For the last four years, as market sales director, Valle was responsible for leading a sales team of eight external sellers and three inside sellers across eight states selling through local and national distribution customers in the Upper Midwest. The team focused on mutual value creation with distributor customers by aligning new business creation and implementation strategies.

Valle attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management – graduating with honors.
