NSS Enterprises Joins The TASKI Family, Partnership Unveiled At ISSA Show North America

TASKI, creators of the ULTIMATE cleaning machines, has welcomed NSS Enterprises to their family and unveiled the new partnership during the recent 2023 ISSA Show North America. TASKI also showcased their award nominated ERGODISC FLEXX single disc scrubber, the latest Ecobot autonomous cleaning technology, and discussed their sustainability efforts to date as well as goals for the future.

“The ISSA Show North America, held in mid-November at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, provided a perfect showcase platform for TASKI and their machines. TASKI will increase their presence in the region by increasing manufacturing in North America, beginning with the manufacture of TASKI swingo 1650/1850 in Toledo, OH, with more machines to be added to the production roster in the coming months and years,” according to a press release. “The partnership will also deliver three new world-class training facilities in Toledo; Fort Mill, SC; and Toronto, ON. These combined facilities also provide opportunities for expansion of quality service and parts as well as North American product development.

“Together with NSS, our combined engineering teams will be focused on innovations and support for North America. In addition, increasing North American operations will provide a broader machine portfolio, a more expansive sales force, and an improved customer service network alongside expert technical support teams.”

“This strategic move has afforded TASKI the chance to optimise and re-imagine their innovative ULTIMATE cleaning machines — together with the heavy-duty, robust cleaning machines from NSS — to combine the two means for unparalleled cleaning for our customers,” TASKI North America Managing Director Mark Palumbo said.

The TASKI ERGODISC FLEXX was nominated for the 2023 ISSA Innovation Award, highlighting the new cordless iteration of an industry classic machine.

“When 30% of non-fatal workplace accidents are trips and slips, and 20% of cleaners need time off due to substandard, cleaning equipment, TASKI’s cable-free, ergonomic ERGODISC FLEXX can make a difference to the workforce. But the innovation doesn’t end with simply cutting the cord:

  • ERGODISC FLEXX’s half-sized digital motor consumes up to 40% less energy;
  • Energy reduction protects the environment means by producing 744 kg less CO2; and,
  • FLEXX is dynamic and has more functions and multiple tasks completed at a range of speeds by a single machine.”

Other TASKI machine highlights at this year’s ISSA Show North America were the Ecobot 50P and Ecobot 40.

“These extraordinary autonomous cleaning machines clean where and whenever you need. They ensure that, no matter what the constraints, your building will look its best for customers, guests, and the public,” the release added. “As well as their appearances at the show, both machines also represent another step forward for sustainability within the cleaning industry.”

“Across the board, we hear customers talk to us about what’s important to their businesses and their cleaning, and repeatedly we hear that sustainability is a primary commercial concern. At TASKI, sustainability isn’t just about being green, it’s about being orange, too. Innovation is at the heart of what we do, and it’s innovation that makes machines more sustainable,” Palumbo said. “TASKI’s commitment to sustainability is deeply ingrained in how we view the world, and how we fulfill our responsibilities. It’s also evident in the exceptional performance of our machines. These machines consistently deliver optimal results, while significantly reducing water, chemical, consumable and energy consumption.”
