Tom Sellars Recognized As A Top Impact CEO
Tom Sellars, CEO of Sellars Absorbent Materials, has been recognized as a 2024 MO 100 Top Impact CEO. The award identifies the 100 most impactful leaders who are driving positive social and environmental change through their companies.
Founded in 1985 in Milwaukee, Sellars utilizes proprietary technology to produce high-performance wipes, shop towels and absorbents primarily from recycled fibers. In addition, as part of its manufacturing process, the company recycles its own production waste to create some of its absorbents.
The company’s signature brands include TOOLBOX®, which is sold throughout North America at major DIY retailers and commercial distributors. In addition, in 2024, Sellars is introducing Bravo® – a high-performing kitchen towel that is made with 90 percent post-consumer curbside recycled boxes and paper waste.
“As CEO, Tom Sellars drives the company’s green innovation strategy and has positioned it to be an employer of choice,” according to a press release. “Sellars offers attractive wages, performance bonuses, quality healthcare coverage, a 100 percent matching 401k plan and an employee neighborhood home ownership program, among other things.”
“It’s an honor to be recognized for the work we’re doing to provide a supportive environment for our employees in conjunction with being environmental stewards of our planet,” Tom Sellars said.
